School Lunches

Pupils may either bring a packed lunch or they may choose a school dinner provided by our contracted caterers The Pantry in our dining hall. Your child also has the option of choosing to have a mixture of school dinners and/or  packed lunches in the week.

 

SCHOOL MEALS

Our School meals are prepared by The Pantry.  The Pantry has been going for 15 years and pride themselves on all food being freshly made.

Children from Reception to Year 2 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals. You can order your food on-line in advance or by 9am on the day.

Children from Year 3 to Year 6 are also entitled to a Free School Meal between September 2023 - July 2024 under the Mayors Funding Programme.

ORDERING A SCHOOL MEAL

All school meals are ordered on-line by logging into the portal using the log in details provided by The Pantry. You have the option of ordering your child's in advance(weekly, termly). If you are ordering your child's meal on the day, you will need to do so by 9am. If you have forgotten to order a meal for your child or missed the cut off, your child will automatically be ordered a Jacket potatoe if they have selected to have a school meal. You will be charged for this meal and be sent an email as a reminder to order on-line.

PAYING FOR SCHOOL MEALS

You will need to be registered with the Pantry to order school meals in advance

 

PACKED LUNCH

A packed lunch must be (in a named, sealed box or bag but no glass bottles, fizzy drinks or cans please).

Children must not bring nut or any nut based products into school as we have children with serious nut allergies and protocols are in place to protect them.

FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Are you eligible to apply for free school meals and help your school receive more funding? We know that some families may be reluctant to enquire about eligibility for free school meals but we want to ensure that any child entitled to receive them can do so in an easy and discreet manner. Please  click here for more information and here to apply online  Also your child does not need to take school dinners, but it is very helpful to the school if all eligible children are registered.
