Year 2 Castle Day

On Wednesday, Year 2 were transported back to medieval Britain as the school hall was turned into a medieval castle for the day.  We all dressed up as castle workers and, through a variety of activities from candle-making to shaping grotesque gargoyles, we learnt about what life was like for ordinary people in a medieval castle.
